Holy Child's May Procession will be celebrated on Monday, May 12th at 11am at Holy Family Church.  The children will be processing into church with the student body. The kindergarten students are asked to wear their "Sunday Best" to school this day.  Please remember to pack your child's school uniform as we will be changing after church.

If your child has a change in their dismissal plans, a written note is required.  Identification will also be necessary for any family member/friend who is picking your child up.  This is for safety reasons. 

Please click on the "Sight Words" link to view updated sight words that I have introduced to your child this year.  It is important to set aside some time each night to review 4-5 words weekly with your child.  Some ways to practice these words are: to use flashcards, use pipe cleaners to make the letters in each word, find them in everyday text and poetry, and practice using them in sentences with your child.  Remember to make it fun and keep practicing!  

 Holy Child School is having a "Nickels for Neighbors" Fundraiser to help raise money for the needy.  Students are encouraged to bring in any "small" change to help. Please send your child's money in a marked envelope to school if they would like to participate. Thank you in advance for all of your support! :)

Please remember to pack a healthy, morning snack (1 snack and 1 juice) for your child daily. Please no candy or soda.

  Our Library Day is on Tuesday.  Each week, your child will be allowed to take a book home.  Please be sure to return this library book every Monday so that your child may receive a new one.

Please sign and return your child's Thursday Envelope (big, manila envelope) to school every Friday. 

  Please be sure to return your child's "Baggie Book" each week so that they may receive a new one.
